“The power to reach seniors through music is astounding to me and truly what fills my heart. 

For the last 30 years as a performing musician, I always felt something was missing. I realized a couple of years ago, that to truly feel solid in my purpose meant that I needed to shift from ‘entertainer’ to including service to others in my work. I discovered that combining my musical talent with enhancing quality of life for others filled that missing link.

Music is especially therapeutic for Seniors. The part of the brain associated with memory fires up when that special song from earlier in life is heard. I play music from the 1930s through the 1970s in every style from jazz, to rock & roll, to folk, to musical theater and everything in between to try to find songs that my Senior audiences really connect with. There is nothing more powerful than when I choose that perfect song and see a face light up with recognition, and it’s even better when they start to hum or sing along! Since December of 2023 I’ve been performing on voice and piano all over the Atlanta Metro area on an average of 6-8 times a week and I’ve never felt more lucky to have this rewarding career.”
